Co-Working with Jelly in Birmingham’s Urban Coffee Co.

Jelly is an event intended for solo workers to come together and chat, work and even make new contacts. It costs nothing and takes minimum effort; on a given day at a given location, simply bring your laptop, grab a coffee, sit down and work. You can pop in and out whenever you like during the course of the day.

Birmingham’s first Jelly was held in October where we started with 8 ‘Jellyheads’ and grew from there.

We have a mix of freelancers and people who work from home but also those who are based in the field who pop in between meetings to catch up on emails, banter, coffee or all three.

The next Birmingham Jelly is on Tuesday 16th November to coincide with Global Enterprise Week and appropriately Tuesday is all about sharing.

Jelly starts at 9am and everyone is welcome.

Location: Urban Coffee Co on Church Street opposite Hotel Du Vin. Nearest parking and train station is Snow Hill but it’s easily walkable from New St too. Jelly will be upstairs so feel free to come and put your laptop down then grab a drink. You can even come in earlier for breakfast and browse the newspapers.

They have sandwiches, soups and other delicious snacks and cakes to sustain you through the day.

Please feel free to drop in any time on Jelly day but do RSVP so we have an idea of numbers.

I look forward to seeing you at Jelly.
