Birmingham St. Mary’s Hospice Comedy Festival (15/02/2012)
Begin 2012 as you mean to go on with a laugh packed comedy festival, in support of the Birmingham St. Mary’s hospice this February.
The beginning of a new year usually heralds the making (and maybe breaking!) of resolutions and by supporting the Birmingham St Mary’s hospice this February, you could not only tick the “charitable involvement” box, but also thoroughly enjoy yourself in the process.
St. Mary’s hospice provides people with terminal illnesses free of charge care, emotional and spiritual support. But their care and attention does not stop at the patient, as it also extends to relatives and loved ones, before and after their loss, making them a truly valuable service. The hospice, a integral part of communities all over Birmingham, survives on public support therefore in order to provide it, they must receive it.
On Wednesday 15th February, Birmingham St. Mary’s Hospice will be staging a comedy festival with headlining acts such as Andrew Doyle, James Mullinger and Dave Gibson, emerging comedy figures guaranteed to tickle a few laughter chords.
With the £15 ticket proceeds funding cruial care for local people with life-shortening illnesses such as aids, multiple sclerosis and cancer, it makes this event not only entertaining, but significantly worthwhile.
The doors will open at 7.45pm with the event scheduled to begin at 8.30pm.
