Birmingham churches welcome free & reduced-rate tai chi classes

Studio B recently announced its preparations to roll out free and reduced-rate tai chi classes across Birmingham, as Charityzine exclusively reported back in February this year.

Studio B now has three experienced tai chi enthusiasts volunteering to deliver these classes, and after approaching the Community Regeneration team at the Church of England Birmingham for help finding potential venues around the city, many of Birmingham’s churches have offered free and reduced-rate hall hire to match the sentiment of this charitable tai chi project for the benefit of the community.

Stay tuned to Charityzine for confirmation of venues, or keep an eye on www.birminghamtaichi.co.uk – the new website of this charitable tai chi project.

Classes are due to start in May within the first few venues around Birmingham!

Any idea where these are going to be held?

    • All over Birmingham! They’ve already started in Weoley Castle down south, other locations coming soon are likely to include Balsall Heath (also south but more central) and Great Barr (up north).

We are looking to hold a Zumba event for charity ‘dreams come true’ and are currently struggling to find a venue free of charge within the Birmingham area. Would you have any ideas or be able to assist?

    Many Thanks
