Inter Faith Week 2012 and the network’s 25th anniversary

Since 1987, the Inter Faith Network for the UK has worked with its member bodies and others to build bridges of inter faith understanding and cooperation and to contribute to the continued development of a shared society, rooted in values held in common and with an appreciation of the positive aspects of diversity which strengthen this.

2012 marks the 25th anniversary of the Inter Faith Network. Its work of helping to foster inter faith understanding, respect and cooperation continues to be of vital importance – yet ever harder to resource in a climate of economic austerity.

In this context, a 25th anniversary appeal has been launched to enable IFN to secure a sound operational footing for the future and to help its work to continue. Anyone who appreciates the importance of IFN’s work and would like to make a gift to support its continuing work can do so online at: or by sending a cheque to: The Inter Faith Network for the UK, Donations, Freepost, RSXC-XCGG-AJJL, 2 Grosvenor Gardens, LONDON, SW1W 0DH.

The Inter Faith Network also runs an annual Inter Faith Week – in England, Wales and Northern Ireland this takes place between 18th to 27th November 2012 – an extended period to mark the Diamond Jubilee (60th year of reign) of Queen Elizabeth II. You can read more about last year’s Inter Faith Week and find our more about this year’s extended week by visiting the Inter Faith Week website at
