JD Parties announce support of the British Heart Foundation
JD Parties have announced that the British Heart Foundation will be the nominated charity for their 2012 programme of Christmas and New-Year’s Eve parties across the Midlands and the North-West.
Founded over 50 years ago with the aim of reducing instances of premature death from heart disease, the British Heart Foundation have funded pioneering research, enlightened the nation on prevention of heart disease and worked hard towards ensuring that sufferers of heart disease have the comfort and quality of care that they deserve, and all this has been achieved through public donations.
Now JD Parties are adding the British Heart Foundation to the growing list of charities in the area to have benefited from their donations. Burton-based JD Parties have been holding their annual Christmas parties in Birmingham for the last five years, and in that time have raised well over £10,000 for local charitable organisations; including Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Ronald McDonald House.
Emma Kelsey, General Manager of JD Parties said:
We are very pleased to be working with the British Heart Foundation, they do a huge amount of valuable work in this region and nationwide.
This year, all proceeds from the Charity Fun Casino at JD’s Parisian-themed Christmas party spectacular, held at the ICC in Birmingham, will go to the British Heart Foundation’s Midlands regional branch. At the casino, party guests can buy $10,000 of “fun money chips” for £5 to be used on the professionally-staffed Roulette, Blackjack, Craps and Poker tables. Guests with the most chips at the evening’s end are awarded a prize, with all the money raised going to charity.
The event itself will consist of a three-course dinner prepared by the ICC’s experienced team, led by Simon Hellier, followed by a Parisian-inspired dance show and culminating in a disco and charity fun casino.
So, if you can handle excessive amounts of Parisian flesh on display and also the addictive vibe of casino gambling, considering it’s fundraising for the BHF, consider booking your tickets on the JD Parties website. Prices start at £59.50 per person.
