Ginny Davis is “Double Booked” for new Marie Curie Hospice on 29th November @ Solihull School
Don’t get yourself double booked on 29 November and risk missing this great show!
Warwickshire-based actress and writer Ginny Davis’ latest hilarious one-woman show Double Booked, which was a was a sell-out at both Edinburgh and Buxton festivals is having a one-night only performance on Thursday 29 November at the Solihull School’s Bushell Hall at 7:45pm. Tickets are £10 or £20 for a VIP option including canapés (sponsored by Gourmet Foods) and complimentary wine – ring 07808 741048 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for tickets.
All proceeds will go to Marie Curie Big Build Appeal and help specifically to equip a family room in the charity’s new hospice being built in Solihull to serve the West Midlands.
As audiences who attended Ginny Davis’ show ‘Family Matters’ staged earlier this year in aid of the Big Build will know, she is a master comic writer & performer. In Double Booked her alter ego, stay-at-home mother of three, Ruth Rich, has hit the menopause. Colin Firth has disappeared from her dreams and eldest child, Laura is away at uni. Time to settle down and join a Book Club? Well, that`s what she thought. But as Ruth enters the “sandwich” years and worries over her mildly demented mother, her son Freddie`s school detention, and daughter Ellie`s driving and drinking, she discovers it is not easy to please everyone!
The show starts at 7.45pm but all welcome from 6.45pm. There’s plenty of parking at the school and good disabled facilities for wheelchair access. Confectionary and drinks will be available to purchase on the night. After the great feedback following Ginny’s last show, tickets will be highly sought after so contact Lorna Bevins to secure your places on 07808 741048 or email@example.com.
